Paola Fiorentini
Born in Rome, Paola Fiorentini moved in the late 1970s to the green and sun-drenched heart of Italy, Umbria, where she began developing her visionary project in vegetable-dyed wool knitwear.
She was among the very first artisans in the region—and one of the true pioneers in Italy—to explore natural dyeing techniques applied to fashion and sustainable clothing.
Paola Fiorentini’s knitwear is created for those who shape their own personal style in harmony with nature. Her collections include sweaters, jackets, and vests for children, teenagers, and adults, designed to be both beautiful and functional thanks to their exceptional biological and aesthetic qualities.
Natural Materials, Responsible Process
All garments are crafted using 100% organic, renewable raw materials, completely free from toxic substances and synthetic fibers. The natural dyeing process is fully environmentally responsible, with careful use of water and energy resources.
Each piece is unique and prestigious, reflecting the rich and ever-changing colors of nature. Inspired by the Umbrian countryside, Paola draws her natural pigments from an inexhaustible palette: olive trees, oak bark, elderberries, broom, madder, and local wild herbs.
Craftsmanship & Wearability
Every garment is handmade with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in pieces that feel like a second skin. Lightweight, soft, and thermoregulating, Paola Fiorentini’s knitwear supports natural perspiration and adapts gracefully to the seasons.
Vegetable dyes evolve over time, enhancing the character of each piece, while natural accessories such as wood, terracotta, and mother-of-pearl—often combined with embroidery and artistic finishes—add depth and individuality.
Timeless and distinctive, Paola Fiorentini’s creations celebrate individuality, craftsmanship, and sustainable fashion—remaining fresh and relevant beyond trends and seasons.
